Had a shaky start here with our stay. But I can comfortably say that Chandra has gone above and beyond. Raddison corporate should take notice with how amazing she is.She literally runs the show from the restaurants to the front desk, she is everywhere cause she is constantly involved in every day to day operation. We will be staying here again due to the five star relationships Chandra built after the start we had. Thank you for rectifying our issues!
Front staff were not polite. I confirmed a pet friendly room in which I received a reply from them saying there would be no pet charge. Checking in and out I showed them the message and they still charged me the pet fee.Hotel was noisy, hot tub was luke warm, and other guests complained of smelling cigarette smoke in their rooms.
I had a mix up with my dates. Marina and the manager Chandra were very accommodating and helped me sort things out. First time staying here, and we’ll definitely be back! Room was very nice and food at the restaurant was amazing.
Really nice location with great study or meeting spaces in the common areas. Full board room table with great compute stations.Pool facilities, hot tub and steam room were under-kept. Hot tub didn’t get to proper temperature.
We love this hotel! It’s our go to spot whenever we need a rest between Edmonton and Calgary. This is it.Great room, great price, great service, great location… by far the best option in Red Deer.Only thing that would make this better would be offering better in room coffee! Other than that, 10/10.Great pool and hot tub too!
Loved our overnight stay! Every employee that we encountered was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Rock n Roll memorabilia was throughout the hotel. It seems like so much more than a hotel. It actually felt like we went back in time in a very upbeat way. The attention to detail was felt from the time we stepped into the lobby and Manager checked us in until we finished our awesome breakfast.
As always the Radisson Hotel was a perfect place to stay. The staff was amazing and super accommodating to my business requests. The room was clean and the team here helped me move a bunch of boxes to the second floor for a trade show I am producing in the city.I will be back again soon!
Amazing staff, lovingly curated, wonderful food & great location. It’s more than a hotel, it’s a museum & library! Clean, lovely pool and lots of options for breakfast. And valet parking. The Verb is no misnomer ~ they do it all. Highly recommended.
Loved our stay at the Radisson Hotel! I mentioned in our booking that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we were greeted in our room by a box of chocolates and a bottle of bubbly. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was friendly, and we enjoyed the very fun, friendly vibe. Loved relaxing with a stack of records in our room!
Do not let the word "Resort" in its name fool you. This hotel needs some help! I get the hotel cannot control the lack of respect and hotel etiquette of its guest's so therefore; it needs some serious soundproof upgrades. You can hear a mouse fart in the hallway. No kidding. Every word, every slamming door, the hotel staff talking, every kid running down the hall. Every word of the guests in the room next door until 1:30 am. Than there's the traffic being on a busy street ... which eventually quieted down. Night 2 added the kids or dogs running all night long on the floor upstairs. Okay, and let's talk about the air exchange unit in your room that is so loud forget having it on for heat or AC... or maybe you are to have it on to drown out the noise from the outside chaos. THAN, you have a packed full house with soccer tournaments, Horse Expo, etc. and you first say the Hot Tub is out for cleaning and than for repair. I get not 100% predictable but really??? You could not have planned that better?Food in Garden Terrace Lounge was good. Read the poor reviews on the food in the Casino so didn't bother to try. We contemplated Hiy Steak but given the prices .... hmmm .... maybe thats why there was only 1 table all of Friday night and 3 Saturday would explain something (empty). Staff are nice and try.
The beds are firm side.Somewhat clean they did not match any online discount. Was not happy that they stuck me above the third-floor looking out to the roof of the hotel. No Continental breakfast. They do have in room coffee, but only 1 tea that didn't function.Called front desk too many times they did not answer so I had to go down face-to-face.Did the bed bug test, used iron no sight of bed bugs.Hot tub really hot, whole entire swimming pool is about 3.5 feet in deep throughout. They charge $30 per pet, but I did get them down to $30 flat. They also charge additional fees which I’m not happy since Covid.Casino really clean, not happy on the buffet, too much ginger in all the food. The restaurant in the hotel for breakfast was pretty good.Don’t know if I will returning next year to the hotel.Plus, I have to wait 3 to 10 business days for my deposit to be returned. I wonder what happened to the interest?
Steam room had a damp and soggy smell 🫣 and the hot tub was out of order 🙁 shutdown by AHS other then that the room was nice. Just wished they kept the pool in better conditions
Went here for the casino. Called in the morning on Monday April 21st was told blackjack tables would open at 2:00. Fine. Came at 3:30 asked when they would open a table and they said not until about 6:00. Either open when you say you will or get on board and figure yourselves out.
I recently visited Red Deer Resort and Casino with my family for dinner on a Saturday night, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. We had a five-star time! The service was impeccable, and our food arrived surprisingly quickly. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and attended to our needs with great care. The meal was delicious, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. We will definitely be returning to Red Deer Resort and Casino in the future. It's a top-notch destination for a delightful evening out.
At this casino, the atmosphere was marred by a rather unpleasant experience. The blonde old leather bag-looking waitress raised her voice when no tip was given. In fact she yelled across the room, talk about no self respect. It seemed rather ridiculous to demand a tip for such minimal service. Why even bothering working in customer service if you are going to treat customers like that. Maybe if you were nice to customers they would tip you. She was working at the middle bar with the bubbles and epoxy tank, over near the game tables. This incident left a negative impression on an otherwise fun visit
Well, where to start? From the short skirt of the waitress ( I could see her undies ), from the other waitress with long black hair, very worry about it flipping and touching it all the time ( my daughter found one black hair in her rice) or from the 45 minutes wait? People coming after us got served faster. Over all very unprofessional and food on the low end. They apologized twice because they said “ we just opened “ but because you just opened you really have to put your best effort. Not going back.
My wife and I booked our room through Hotwire and we were happy with the results. This hotel just changed ownership and was the Cambridge up until recently. We were impressed with our room. We got a room with a king sized bed. We had a good nights sleep. The room was clean. There was a friendly welcome from the receptionist and a quick check in. There was plenty of parking and easy access to the hotel.
Had a great stay here the same time last year , we thought we'd book earlier this year. We called ahead today to check on our booking which we made back in May and found out that they could not find our booking. The confirmation number from the email we received was also not found. Hope no one else has the same booking mishap.**Update**The hotel booking system was being updated at the time of our booking. Arlene was able to help us out and was able to reserve us a room.
