Very nice hotel. The room including a sitting area / living room, which is great for business travelers who may spend more time in the room doing work than a tourist might. I also enjoyed the steam room and pool amenities. And the staff was courteous, but not annoying and constantly trying to get tips like some of the other five star hotels like Four Seasons. Highly recommend.
We had a great stay there. Beautiful hotel a services. Get one of those rooms that has a cater view if you can. The gym is exceptionally good with water and snacks. We want for every day. And the location is good to restaurants across the bridge.
We stayed for one night (wish it could have been more) and had a very good experience - mostly due to the staff (from the valet to the bellhops to the front desk to the waitstaff). Everyone was very good. The room we had looked towards the city, but was very large, including an office area separated from the bedroom area by an archway. The food we had was good, and the location was great. Overall, very good!
Quick service when responding to housekeeping needs. Great water pressure for the shower. Terrible toilet paper though. For $500-$1000 per night, you’d expect something better than angel soft
Oh what a night of fun! Walked through the archway and heard great music. The love entertainment was amazing. Sat at a small bar and had a delicious espresso martini. The well dressed gentleman at the corner was watching every detail. We sparked a conversation and he introduced himself. Ronnie! Security at the hotel and has worked there’s for 16 years. We had fantastic conversations and laughs. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. We will be back. Can’t beat the views! Thank you again Ronnie!
I wish I could rate this hotel with 10 stars. The staff are so welcoming, the building is thoughtfully designed and the location is perfect. My room had a great view and felt so cozy. It was my first time in Boston and I can’t thank the Whitney staff enough for making my experience so incredible.
Best of the best in Boston. If you want to experience a hotel that doesn't miss a detail, book with confidence. Upon entering, greeted with a welcoming smile from all employees. Complimentary champagne was a nice touch as well. Room was perfect and clean. Check out in the morning was a breeze and as we waited for our vehicle, the staff genuinely wanted to be sure the experience was as expected. We have stayed here 6 or so times now and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when visiting Boston. Thanks Whitney Hotel for always setting the bar.
I had the pleasure of working with the Whitney Hotel for my 12/17/22 wedding. I cannot believe it has been almost a year and that I haven’t given this wonderful staff a glowing review. Since the moment I had decided to stay at the Whitney, each of the staff members could not have been more attentive, helpful and kind. Kimberly had everything set up for me the day that I had arrived and was quick to help with anything me, my friends or my family needed. Not only Kimberly, but each and everyone one of the Whitney staff was so incredibly helpful and wonderful. I am hoping to come back in a few weeks to relive all of the magic the Whitney provided me and my family on my wedding day and to celebrate my husband and I’s one year anniversary. We hope we will be able to come back to celebrate for many years to come. 🙂
First rate experience and beautiful rooms, with special mention to ‘front of house’ team Carol and Miller for outstanding service. Ideal location for restaurants, bars, parks and special places of interest. Will definitely be booking another city escape here again.
I really appreciated the welcoming, friendly, professional staff after a long week of travel. The rooms are large and clean compared to other hotels in the area. Enjoyed my visit and will come back for additional stays.
Almost everything was perfect, but we gave it a five star anyway! Check-in process was smooth and I think we got upgraded, but we're not sure. Joyce and Carol went above and beyond!!! They made us feel home and they were trying their best to accommodate our requests. For instance, we bought some bubble tea but the room didn't have a fridge, so Joyce provided us with a portable fridge. When we checked out and it was pouring out there and we needed to cross the street to access the T station, Carol said we could take the umbrella. The restaurants is also a non-tipping establishment, which gave us the impression that the hotel takes care of its employees well. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was so good that we didn't want to go out 🙂 The neighbourhood is the best of Boston (in our opinion) and is conveniently located next to a T station. If you could lower the price per night a bit, we'd love to stay longer. But in a way we also understand that since this is a boutique hotel with no expansive branches, covering all the expenses is this hotel's sole 'responsibility' (not getting financial support from other branches or HQ). We still hope to come back. Thank you Hotel Whitney for making our four-day trip a memorable one!!
Our recent stay at this hotel was an absolute delight, offering a blend of luxury and comfort that exceeded our expectations. The hotel's excellent location stands out, providing easy access to the vibrant surroundings and local attractions. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff greeted us with a warm welcome and a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, a sophisticated touch that was much appreciated. The rooms were a haven of comfort, with plush robes and exceptionally comfortable beds ensuring a restful and luxurious experience. Each morning, we woke up feeling refreshed and ready to explore the city.Additionally, the hotel's bar and restaurant in the lobby was a highlight of our stay. It offered a cozy atmosphere and a selection of delightful dishes and drinks, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. We are already looking forward to recommending this hotel to our friends and family. Its combination of superb location, outstanding service, and luxurious amenities make it a top choice for anyone visiting the area. The only minor drawback was the valet parking fee of $65 per day, which seemed a bit high. However, considering the promptness and convenience of the service, along with the challenge of finding street parking in Beacon Hill, it felt justified. Overall, our experience at this hotel was wonderful, and we are eager to return for another memorable stay.
What could I possibly say?! This was my second visit to The Whitney and it is undoubtedly my favorite hotel in Boston. The staff and the service are above and beyond - Kamil seeks out opportunities to make guests feel so welcome and provides a superb guest experience. I love the food and drinks at the bar and restaurant, and the cleanliness and amenities in the room are 10/10. Lovely views, very comfortable beds and killer morning cappuccinos. If you’re thinking of booking - do it! From the moment you arrive to the minute you depart, you’ll be delighted by every staff member you encounter. An exceptional hotel with an incredibly thoughtful team. Thank you!
